I’m on the Radio – Hebrew Versions for Famous Pop Songs

I was an Israeli music week in Kol HaKampus 106FM, and Nir Gorali and Gil Matus did a show with Hebrew covers for famous pop songs: Beatles, Beyoncé, and many more. I was a guest there because of my website – Laaz – which contains free translation for popular songs, and not only I talked about it, I also sang 5 songs that the users from Laaz did. I took Aya, my friend, as reinforcement. I’m not a proffessional musician or something, so the mood was like sitting with freinds around the fire and play guitar with friends.

These are the songs we did live:

And this is the full 2-hour show. Great songs…

I’m making this music video, and I can do it 80′s style if I want to. ;)

Aya T-shirt

I like Facebook. A year and a half ago I made a simple cartoon of a friend of mine – Aya Zahavi Feiglin. During this time, Aya and her band released their debut album and did lots of gigs, and even has a group of fans. And while I was consuming my time in Facebbok, I stumbled upon this picture of a fan that printed Aya’s cartoon on a T-shirt. I find it cool.
This is Noy (wearing the shirt) and Aya:

I Got The Hotties – The Pussy Song (Alternative cover art)

The same as yesterday, I’m designing an “alternative” cover art for a song that would never become a single. And this time it’s a song called “70 people” (or “The Pussy Song”, depends who you’re talking to) from the debut album of I Got The Hotties.

It’s a remake of a small idea I had a year ago for this song, based on the first line of the song: “70 people are standing in line to lick your pussy”. Download the song for free from here.

I Got The Hotties – I Want (Alternative cover art)

First of all, congratulations to Aya and her band “I Got The Hotties“! Their debut album is out, and after listening twice, I must say it’s great. They’ve done a good job transforming their “charm” from live shows to studio recording.

If a song is too provocative like some of the band’s songs, it wouldn’t become a single. But it doesn’t mean it can’t have a cover art. This is my proposal for a cover, as a fan of this band.

The song is called “I want“, and it’s about a girl who wants to fuck her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend, so the girlfriend would tell him about her and her “amazing breast”, and make him remember and think about her.

By tomorrow I’ll publish another post with another “alternative” single cover for the other provocative song in the album…

Hamelin: Behind the Scenes

As I was cleaning my CPU earlier today, I’ve bumped into this video. It was shot between sessions while making Hamelin, the stop-motion video, 9 months ago.

So… Here’s me, Aya, Nir and Gilad having some laughs in an Evil Kanievel style.

P.S.
I miss my old car…
