My First Caricature Ever – Ralph Klein

Ok, It’s probably not my *first* caricature, but it’s one of the firsts. I signed the date, ’95. I was in the 7th grade.

It’s a caricature of Ralph Klein, the legendary basketball coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv (among other clubs) and the Israeli national team (and the West German national team as well). The year this caricature was made was his last year as a coach. He died of cancer on August 7, 2008.

I made this photographed comix in 2005, a few months before the disengagement from gaza strip. An homage to the the nostalgic show itself – Zeu Ze. Written and acted by me and Yonny Zafrani. Photographed by Eliran Mor-Yosef.

Nostalgic Wednesday: 2005 / Army Shoe

I did a “re-organization” on my hard drive and found some cool old stuff. Once a week I’ll post one of them – Nostalgic Wednesday.

Made for visual communication course on my first year in Shenkar College. Very loosely inspired by the movie “The Color Purple“.
