Pick a card! Interactive video on YouTube

I’m working now, full time job, at Points of You as a… creative content man, I guess. in a few words, Points of You is a very creative self development company. Our main tool is The Coaching Game – a board game with cards, that confront you to look at your life in different points of view…
I made this interactive video that was sent in our last newsletter. It simulates one aspect of the game. Picking a card, and look at an aspect of your life through a random topic..
This video uses the annotations feature to move from video to another. At the third step you can pick a random video for inspiration, from a list of videos I liked on YouTube…

Happy New Year From Points Of You – Pause

I’m again working with Points Of You, the two coachers – Efrat and Yaron, who created The Coaching Game. We created together a series of three short videos.
The videos are dealing with three imortent values of The Coaching Game: pause, intimacy and points of view. The first one is about pausing in life, and doing the stuff you want to do, instead of taking care of everyone else and doing the stuff you have to do.
And the sountrack… again it’s Hilit Rozental music.

Points Of You – Fear

The Guys from Points Of You wanted me to make a video they could share with their clients. They are to coachers, that created a board game that by playing, you inspect your life in many aspects. That’s it, in a nut shell.
I chose one aspects that the game is dealing with, and that’s the word fear. Soon you could find it on their website.

By the way, they asked me to write about the process I went through while making this video. I’m gonna write and post it here in the next few days.

and  let’s not forget, the great soundtrack was created by Hilit Rozental, a very talented person.

Hamelin

This video is a first-time for me in many ways. The first time I’ve experimented pixilation. The first time I did a stop-motion animation that was longer than a few seconds. The first time I did a project and really felt like a director, directing other people. I can go on and on. I watch this, I can see a lot of bumps and things I could have done better, but it makes me proud, I must say. I have things that are more “perfect”, but I really like this small video because it made me experiment in a lot of new stuff, and I feel it’s a big step farward for me.

Anyway, thanks for Aya Zahavi Feiglin (That also have a blog with her band that I built and manage) for laying down in some fhilty spaces, and didn’t complain.
Another big thanks goes to  Hilit Rozental, a very talented musician and a very cool girl, for the beautifull song on the background.
Gilad Tasa and Nir Yemini, two great friends, helped moving some stuff, Shirly Kattash and Rotem Smolsky helped me with shooting.

Clouds in 30 seconds

The weather was windy and cloudy, and I took 600 still shots to document it. When I rendered the footage, I flipped it horizontally, and suddenly it looked like watching clouds from above. I like these small discoveries that happen by chance. Anyway, I flipped the sound too, and played it backwards, to fit the weird visual. click here to listen to the original sound, a classical piece composed by Jean Sibelius.

Gordon Beach in 30 seconds

Still experimenting the stop motion technique. In the next few days I’m gonna explore it more, and try to make cool stuff, less basic than the landscape scenes (like the sunrise, a few days ago). Anyway, yesterday I spent my afternoon at Gordon Beach in Tel-Aviv, and took about 1000 pics. it was a very hot afternoon…

Air Drive

It was probably very stupid of me to do, but I was curious to know how would it look on video if I attach a camera to the bumper of my car. And that’s exactly what I did. Lucky me the camera didn’t fall during the drive. Lucky me there weren’t any speed bumps on the way.
And about the soundtrack… well, I had no idea what will I do with the footage when I shot it, so I didn’t plan anything for the sound. But as I was driving, I hummed myself this musical piece by Bach, called Air. I heard it two days ago in the movie “Collateral” (fun movie, despite lacking in credibility). Anyway, I love this music. You can listen to the full piece here.
